Your career development within Groupe Beneteau
Pre-recruitment training programs
Working closely with the training structures, Groupe Beneteau supports and welcomes candidates for production positions (joinery, fittings, gelcoat repairs, laminating, draping, etc.) during their training, as part of the vocational training initiatives. These initiatives enable temporary staff to follow a paid training program, provided by an external organization over six to 12 weeks, before joining the Group.
In-house technical training centers
Each year, more than 2,000 staff are trained on our technical know-how, from molding to boat assembly, at our in-house training centers (France, US and Poland). These centers also develop training programs for staff from our product development teams and engineers when they join the Group. The trainers are all former operators within the Group, with extensive experience, ensuring that our culture, fine craftsmanship and technical know-how can be passed on. The training catalogue covers more than 100 topics and is continuing to grow. Each year, new modules are rolled out to ensure continued alignment with technological innovations for the boats produced by the Group.
Range of actions supporting professional development
Employees’ professional development is a strong focus with the Group’s transformation. Many different actions are put in place to support each individual with the development of their skills, taking into consideration their personal aspirations and the specific needs for each activity. Each year, the People Reviews enable our managers to put their teams’ development goals into perspective with the structures’ needs, facilitating the preparation of succession plans, opening up career opportunities and supporting internal mobility.
The transmission of our know-how and development of our talents is one of the core pillars from our strategic plan. Today, we are proud to stand out in the boating industry through the quality of the resources we allocate for training all our staff, whether they are on permanent or temporary contracts.

Your onboarding and workplace wellness
A personalized onboarding program
Each new employee follows a personalized onboarding program, based on the requirements and features of their position. Discussions and presentation mornings, production site visits, boat visits…Whether you have a permanent or temporary contract, Groupe Beneteau takes particular care with your first days within the company.
Since 2011, all operators joining the Group benefit from a one-day course provided by the in-house training center: this includes a presentation of the tools, products, organization and safety measures.
Initiatives supporting workplace wellness
Building confidence and trust, being exemplary, giving direction and meaning, and supporting the balance between benevolence and demands: one of the priority areas with the Group’s strategic plan is to strengthen our managerial culture.
Alongside this, numerous initiatives are being rolled out in-house to share the boating culture, such as regular sea trips, internal regattas and introduction to sailing sessions.
Dedicated training plan for managers
Visa Manager is a training program organized in partnership with french Audencia Business School. The Beneteau Corporate MBA is an accredited Level 1 “Operational Unit Manager-Director” training program, provided in English, to develop and prepare leaders for new missions within the Group.
Training courses are also regularly offered for supervisors, production site managers and support function managers.
