Your career development within Groupe Beneteau
Pre-recruitment training programs
Working closely with the training structures, Groupe Beneteau supports and welcomes candidates for production positions (joinery, fittings, gelcoat repairs, laminating, draping, etc.) during their training, as part of the vocational training initiatives. These initiatives enable temporary staff to follow a paid training program, provided by an external organization over six to 12 weeks, before joining the Group.
In-house technical training centers
Each year, more than 5,500 staff are trained on our technical know-how, from molding to boat assembly, at our in-house training centers (France, US and Poland). These centers also develop training programs for staff from our product development teams and engineers when they join the Group. The trainers are all former operators within the Group, with extensive experience, ensuring that our culture, fine craftsmanship and technical know-how can be passed on. The training catalogue covers more than 100 topics and is continuing to grow. Each year, new modules are rolled out to ensure continued alignment with technological innovations for the boats produced by the Group.
Range of actions supporting professional development
Employees’ professional development is a strong focus with the Group’s transformation. Many different actions are put in place to support each individual with the development of their skills, taking into consideration their personal aspirations and the specific needs for each activity. Each year, the People Reviews enable our managers to put their teams’ development goals into perspective with the structures’ needs, facilitating the preparation of succession plans, opening up career opportunities and supporting internal mobility.
Vocational and life-long learning are essential to grow our boatbuilding skills. At Groupe Beneteau, all our staff is on regular training, whether they are on permanent or temporary contracts.

Alongside this, numerous initiatives are being rolled out in-house to share the boating culture, such as regular sea trips, internal regattas and introduction to sailing sessions.
