They help define the company’s sales policy and determine the sales development plan for the region that they are responsible for. They monitor the achievement of revenue and margin targets. They carry out research on their area’s competitive environment. They set up and coordinate the sales network (dealers, partnerships). Working with the brand’s marketing teams, they put in place and coordinate marketing and communications actions.
