Values and ethical principles

For more than 140 years, the men and women of Groupe Beneteau have cultivated, over the generations, a passion for the product, a spirit of conquest, a taste for transmission and the audacity of pioneers.

In a context of transformation and generational transition, these strong values, shared with all our stakeholders, underpin our growth and guide our responsible conduct.

Four core values

Passion, audacity, a spirit of conquest, transmission

Four core values

PASSION

It drives the men and women of the Beneteau Group every day.
Being able to respond to all uses and experiences, creating the diversity of models that our customers identify with, and enabling them to live their dreams, is one of the main strengths of our passionate employees.

AUDACE

It’s what drives the Group’s history and sustains its growth.
From the first motorized sardine boat to the SHIP CONTROL universal digital interface, or the Band of Boats community service platform, our history is punctuated by innovations large and small.

ESPRIT DE CONQUÊTE

It permeates our every action and guides our every decision.
Leadership in sailing, a successful gamble on engines, range expansion, international development, digital transformation, creation of new services… the spirit of conquest is in the Beneteau Group’s DNA.

TRANSMISSION

It is a duty to take the Group and its customers further and higher.
Benjamin Bénéteau and the generations of adventurers who have joined the Group over its 140-year history have left us a legacy of unique know-how. Receiving as well as passing on: this is our unwavering commitment.

Ethics charter and code of conduct

Responsible business conduct

The Ethics Charter is complemented by the Code of Conduct, which is specifically aimed at Group employees, suppliers, dealers, customers and partners.

A reference framework of fundamental values, the Code of Ethics guides employees, managers and corporate officers to adopt responsible behavior in their day-to-day business practices. It applies to all Group employees and subsidiaries worldwide. The CSR Committee, chaired by Sébastien MOYNOT, is responsible for deploying the Group’s ethical approach and promoting the best practices set out in the Charter.
