Innovating for sustainable and accessible boating
At the heart of our strategy, innovation is our greatest ally: to make the sea accessible to as many people as possible, sustainably and without compromising on the experience.
With and for our customers, we design, build, and distribute, through our dealer network, boats and solutions that shape the boating of tomorrow. Working closely with all our stakeholders, we are driving a more environmentally friendly boating industry and supporting the revolution in onboard practices.
Innovate in uses
Connected boats, the sharing economy, and alternative propulsion systems: meeting our customers’ expectations and a rapidly evolving market, we transform challenges into opportunities. Whether you’re a fan of the open sea with no constraints, a casual sailor, or a sailor on demand with no commitments, we aim to support a whole new generation of sailors toward shared and user-friendly pleasure boating.
“Our DNA is to make the inaccessible accessible. We believe that sailing should be a leisure activity accessible to as many people as possible. With this in mind, Groupe Beneteau produces boats of all sizes and for all budgets, as it always has.”
Gianguido GIROTTI, Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director of the Boat Division.
Innovate in product development
From the design to the deconstruction of our boats, we are committed to innovating to reduce our environmental impact and contribute to the preservation of the oceans.
We integrate alternative propulsion solutions, bio-sourced materials, and intelligent naval architecture, thus acting as pioneers of more sustainable boating. These sustainable innovations aim to improve the boating experience, notably by offering silence and comfort thanks to environmentally friendly propulsion systems.
To achieve this mission, Groupe Bénéteau is constantly rethinking its approach to boat manufacturing and boating. This includes a renewed architecture, the use of new sustainable materials such as 100% recyclable Elium® resin (Arkema) and natural fibers, as well as the adoption of 100% electric or hybrid propulsion solutions. We are also developing new, increasingly environmentally friendly services, thus reinforcing our commitment to a sustainable future.
