Sharing the passion

Today, more than 200 employees work at the Monfalcone shipyard. A wealth for Groupe Beneteau Italia, which is committed to investing in and developing its talents.

The goals: the pursuit of quality and product’s improvement, by relying on the passion, desire for continuous growth and pride of the employees.

GRP Production

The first step in the production of a yacht, whether sailing or motor, is the creation of its empty fiberglass hull and deck. An extremely technical step. All fiberglass components are meticulously manufactured on a modern production line, using materials and resin applied by vacuum infusion.

The assembly phase

Every single model is the result of a very specific assembly process, relying on a multitude of skills. Mechanics, fitters, electricians, carpenters… So many trades necessary for the exterior and interior design of a boat.

The delivery and testing phase

The launching of the boat is the most delicate phase. Afterwards, a series of tests and trials are carried out before handing over to the client. It is indeed necessary to check the performances, to control the various components and to simulate the overall functioning of the boat.

The supply chain and logistics

All the different production phases are fed by the supply chain, which plays a central role in serving the various production lines. Purchasing, procurement and warehouse management are thus coordinated to ensure the best possible efficiency.

Product development and support functions

The product developing functions from the interior and exterior design to the Project Management and to the Process engineering of the different elements and tools are the essential guidelines for all the production phases. Support functions such as human resources, administration, sales, after-sales and marketing are also present to run all the different shipyard activities.
